Based on the successful books by Michel Gay, the 104 x 11 minute series teaches young viewers valuable lessons about growing up and family, with the help of a delightful five-year-old zebra called Zou.
ZOU has achieved worldwide ratings success and earlier this year became the #1 series on France 5. In the UK, the first season of ZOU performed exceptionally well on Disney Junior and at the time of launch in May 2012 became the second best launch ever on the channel behind Jake and The Never Land Pirates.
Patricia Hidalgo, Vice President, Content & Programming Strategy, Disney Channels EMEA comments: "We are delighted with the addition of a second season of the French produced and distributed animated preschool show, ZOU, to our successful roster of Disney Junior shows in EMEA. This underscores our ongoing commitment to create programming content with the very best creative production companies from markets across Europe. ZOU features endearing characters, imaginative storytelling and showcases the theme of family values, which is a winning combination with young viewers and their parents."
“After such a wonderful start, we are thrilled to be already embarking on a second season so early on, while all foreign dubs of the first season have yet to be delivered. This is testimony of the trust from our partners and to the huge initial audience success of the series”, says Pierre Sissmann, Chairman and CEO of Cyber Group Studios.
One year on since its premiere, ZOU has been sold in more than 140 territories and broadcasted in 24 different languages throughout the world by the end of 2013, reaching over 100 million kids simultaneously. Channels include Disney Channels EMEA, as well as Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and South East Asia, France Télévisions, Super RTL and WVG in Germany, TSR and RSI in Switzerland, YLE in Finland, TV2 in Norway, RUV in Iceland, TG4 in Ireland, S4C in Wales, ETV in Estonia, Welpol in Poland, Karusel in CIS, TRT in Turkey, IRIB in Iran, Channel B in Indonesia, Thai PBS in Thailand, Momo in Taiwan, KBS Kids in South Korea, Zee Learn in India, Télé Québec in Canada, Multirio in Brazil, CFI for Africa and TV5 Worldwide.
Cyber Group Studios is in final negotiation with a major network in the US, where it was awarded the 1st Children’s Jury Prize at The Chicago International Children's Film Festival, the oldest and largest film festival for children in North America, in November 2012.
ZOU has also shown very strong licensing and merchandising potential. In 2012, Cyber Group Studios signed contracts with four major European book publishers in France and Italy including LAROUSSE, HEMMA, HACHETTE and SALANI. Altogether, 69 books covering all the key publishing segments will be released throughout French-speaking Europe in the next three years. Edel Kids in Germany will launch audio books in 2014, and Cyber Group Studios has also confirmed toy-deals in continental and Eastern Europe with four major licensees including BAOBAB, PLAY BY PLAY, FLEXMETAL, RAVENSBURGER and MIKRO trading. A host of other licensing deals are currently in negotiation.
ZOU has also gone interactive. In February 2013, Cyber Group Studios announced the launch of the first eBook featuring the adventures of ZOU, which is set to be released in 15 languages throughout 2013, as well as a ZOU dedicated website and Facebook page. Cyber Group Studios is also planning to launch a set of apps and additional games on the App Store and the Android markets for summer 2013.

by Françoise Boublil, Diane Morel and Pierre Sissmann, has been signed for
evelopment by Teletoon, a subsidiary of the Canal Plus group.
In “Academie Royale”, three exceptional princesses of the 21st century get the chance
to win its ultimate prize, the sparkling diadem, even though at 12 years old, they’d much rather have fun, laugh and sing, anything but stick to the rules. Court etiquette, comedy and energy, sometimes even danger is at the core of the world famous institution. |

Cannes, October 5th 2009. At MIPCOM Junior, Cyber Group Studios announces the production launch of the new « Ozie Boo ! – Learn to live together » series, winner of the TV France International Export Prize 2008, mainly about making children more aware of ecology. This new project is made in partnership with WWF France which brings its scientific knowledge to the series.
| The Ozie Boos are back again with the new series produced by Cyber Group Studios « Ozie Boo! Saves the Planet » (78x4’), coproduced with TIJI, and the main theme is about learning how to live in harmony with our planet earth. Thus, the series is a fun, optimistic way to teach 2‐5 year olds about ecology with the Ozie Boos and their friends, with high quality live video footage in the background.
With Club Panda’s (WWF) active participation and provision of content, three major themes are developed: the animal world, daily reservation of the environment and the discovery of the planet.
«I am particularly proud that our Ozie Boos, today present worldwide, have joined forces with the WWF in order to defend such values as ecology and protection of the environment.
« It’s so important for children growing up today, who will be grown men and women tomorrow », declares Pierre Sissmann, President of Cyber Group Studios, « and I’d like to thank the WWF teams for trusting us with this project and offering us their scientific knowledge of the chosen themes. »
« Airing on Tiji for years, the Ozie Boos have been teaching children how to live with each other every day ; it’s therefore natural for them to explain ecological issues in an entertaining way to our younger viewers » explains Pierre Belaisch, Director of Programming and Channels at Lagardère Active.
We are thrilled about the collaboration on this new season of “Ozie Boo! Save the Planet” with Cyber Group Studios. It is important to increase as soon as possible young generations’ awareness of environmental issues” says Serge Orru, Managing Director of WWF France.
The worldwide release will be in Autumn 2010, the series has already been presold to more than fifty countries, including Latin America, Canada, Norway, and the Middle East, etc….. |

| The HD Film Festival is an event that has been created by the Club HD, a professional group aiming at promoting and communicating on High Definition , along with SATIS, a trade show focused on sound and image technologies.
The main goal of this Festival is to encourage production and distribution of works produced in high definition.
"It (.) seemed obvious (.) that an event celebrating HD with such openness and such a broad spectrum should also abolish its own boundaries!" explains Stephan Faudeux, president of the HD Club.
It is done now: the Festival's third edition will host a new international selection, dedicated to foreign contents!
It is for this category that Foreign Body , coproduced by Michael Eisner 's company Tornante and Cyber Group Digital Media , was rewarded as Best Foreign Production by HD Film Festival 2008.
Available as a series (50x2') or as a TV Movie (1x90'), Foreign Body is a prequel to best selling author Robin Cook's latest book, a thriller that delves into the world of medical tourism with twists and turns of seduction, murder and international intrigue. |

| Based On International Best Seller Robin Cook's Latest Work,Foreign Body
Will Be Released As Both a TV Movie and Web Series.
Cannes - October 14 th 2008 - At MIPCOM 2008, Cyber Group Digital Media and The Tornante Company's new media studio for Internet production, Vuguru ( www.vuguru.com ) today launched international sales of their
co-production Foreign Body , from international bestselling author Robin Cook.
Both companies co-produced this brand new series, to be distributed around the world by Cyber Group Digital Media.
Robin Cook is the international master of the medical thriller genre, and his books have already sold over 100 million copies worldwide in 40 languages.
Co-produced by Michael Eisner's web company Vuguru, and shot in California and New Delhi , Foreign Body , this American thriller is about medical tourism in India . A series of unexplained deaths in foreign hospitals will lead to unveil a sinister conspiracy of global proportions.
Medical tourism is a growing concern. According to The Economist, "historically, medical tourism has been available only to the rich, but today we face the prospect of a boom in mass medical tourism, as American health care costs rise while quality falls. Americans traveling abroad to receive medical treatment are expected to number 10 million by 2012, up from 750,000 last year, and to contribute more than $20 billion annually to developing-country economies".
Besides the terrible reality of its theme, Foreign Body is also a groundbreaking cross-media concept and the best example of convergence between new and traditional media. It is the first time ever that a prequel of a book has been produced as a series for web and mobile applications (50x2' format).
Foreign Body has also been adapted for television as a 90' High Definition TV Movie.
The 50 episodes are broadcast over the Internet and via a mobile phone operator, 1 episode every two days.
The last episode airs one day before the book's release. The book story starts where the web series ends.
Cyber Group Digital Media is already in discussion with major channels for a multimedia broadcast across internet, mobile and television platforms. |

| Cannes - October 13 th 2008 - Cyber Group Animation and Disney Latin America have just signed an agreement including two high-potential properties: Ozie Boo and Manon, Ozie Boo to be aired on Playhouse Disney across the continent.
Ozie Boo is a world hit that has already been translated into 22 languages and has been sold over the last three years to about 150 countries. Its success stems from the cute aspect of the three D characters, which kids love and from the stories, which are not just about storytelling but do transmit values dear to families all around the world, as the theme of the series is "learn to live together".
Manon is a brand new series planned for delivery in December 2008. Manon, a co-production with French studio Planet Nemo and Canadian based Sardine Productions is a cute adaptation of a hit book series, showcasing a small girl living on a farm with many animal friends. The nature of the stories, the quality of the image, which, while in 3D to improve fluidity and grace in that movements has a special 2D look, makes it unique.
"We are very excited of this new collaboration with The Walt Disney Company Latin America. We spend a lot a time developing characters which children can identify to and we do place a lot of importance on delivering high quality series and transmitting real values to kids around the world." says Pierre Sissmann, President of Cyber Group Animation.
Carole Brin, Head of International Sales adds "The ratings of Ozie Boo are very good worldwide and we have no doubt that the kids in Latin America will also love sharing the adventures of our beloved penguins". |
