CYBER GROUP STUDIOS EXPANDS ITS PRESENCE ON DIGITAL VOD PLATFORMS AROUND THE GLOBE WITH AN ARRAY OF NEW DEALS

Paris, 2nd February 2015. Paris based producer/distributor Cyber Group Studios is pleased to report, over the last three months, an important batch of new agreements for more than ten series of its catalogue,on digital VOD platforms internationally. Deals cover players such as Hulu, PlayKids or Kabillion platforms in the USA, X-Media Digital in Russia, Canal Play or TF1’s Tfou Max SVOD services in France, or Sumo’s TV2 in Norway. New agreements will be announced shortly for Asia and Latin America.

Cyber Group Studios continues expanding its strong presence in North America: its hit preschool property Zou 104 x 11-minute CGI-animated series about a little zebra has been picked up by Hulu, one of major SVOD players. In an exclusive partnership with the U.S. streamer, Cyber Group will launch Zou on Hulu’s SVOD service at the beginning of the year.

Additionally, the first season of Zou will also be made available on PlayKids TV, the widely established SVOD mobile app for kids in the US., attracting three million active users each month.

Two other Cyber Group Studios’ properties, Ozie Boo (78×7’) and ‘Mademoiselle Zazie’ (78×7’) were brought into Splash Entertainment’s free kid-focused VOD network Kabillion, starting next month.

Moving to Europe, Cyber Group Studios has placed a package of six titles (the first season of Zou (52×11’), Mademoiselle Zazie (78×7’), Ozie Boo! (78×26’), Cloud Bread (78×26’), Manon (52×17’), Blondes (100×1’)) on CanalPlay, the largest French SVOD service, belonging to Canal+ group.

Moreover, the company has secured a SVOD deal with TV2 Norway, for a number of its animated series (the first season of Zou ( 52×11 ‘) Mademoiselle Zazie ( 78×7 ‘) , Manon ( 52×17 ‘) , Mia ( 39×11 ‘) and Tales of Tatonka (52×13 ‘)) for its platform Sumo.

As for the Russian market, a New Media content distributor X-Media Digital, has picked up ‘Mademoiselle Zazie’ (78×7’) ADVOD rights for its online platform GetMovies.ru.
